Biographie
Influencé dès l'enfance par les bruitages buccales de Mickael Winslow dans les films Police Academy"Mic-Lee s'initie au Human Beatbox en 1998 au lycée en Martinique. En 2004 il commence ses premières scènes sur Lyon grâce au Sound System STB Crew. Basé sur Montpellier depuis 2006, il y intensifie sa pratique et multiplie les rencontres, notamment avec Moino, avec lequel il fonda 1BEAT 2BOUCH’. Ce duo explosif sillonna les scènes montpellieraine et organisa de nombreuses rencontres beatbox. En novembre 2008, leur activisme leur vaut alors d'être sollicités pour coordonner avec le Festival à 100 %, le Troisième Championnat de France de Human Beatbox à Montpellier.
Mic-Lee n'a de cesse de promouvoir son art et de provoquer les échanges artistiques : du slam à l'électro en passant par le Tango avec LA TIPICA SANATA,
le swing-reggae hip-hop avec MONTGROOVE ou bien
la world-fusion avec ALCHIMIX. Il se frotte également à la création contemporaine/ Hiphop avec la danse dans la Compagnie ROSALIEBE.
Convaincu des vertus ludiques, pédagogiques et potentiellement thérapeutiques du Human Beatbox,
Mic-Lee aime animer des ateliers dans les maisons pour tous, divers établissements scolaires ou pénitencier et en 2011 2012 2013 au "JAM'' à Montpellier. La transmission orale du Human Beatbox et son gout pour le voyage lui permet de partager cet art universellement en Inde, au Népal, en Turquie et Ukraine.
Mic Lee partagea de bons moments musicaux avec Ibrahim Maalouf, Bobby McFerrin, Soom T, Tumi and the Volume, Miniashu,Tonton David, DJ Nelson,The Lost Fingers, RicoLoop...
Influenced as a child by the Mickael Winslow's sound effect in "Police Academy" movies, "Mic-Lee was introduced to the Human Beatbox in 1998 in Martinique.
Mic-Lee is constantly promoting his art and provoking artistic exchanges cause: slam to electro via the Tango with LA TIPICA SANATA ,swing-reggae hip-hop in MONTGROOVE and
Contemporary dance HipHop with ROSALIEBE Company.
Convinced fun, educational and therapeutic potential of the Human Beatbox, Mic-Lee enjoys conducting workshops in various schools, medical or prison.
The oral teaching of Human Beatbox and his taste of travelling push him to share this universal art in India, in Nepal, Turkey and Ukraine.
